The fact that they come in a variety of styles makes them that much more appealing. They make great dividers between rooms providing a sense of privacy and multi - functionality. Let's take a look at some that have caught my eye.
Love the idea of taking the doors up to the ceiling, it makes the room appear much bigger.

So what's your take on interior barn doors? Would you consider using them in your home? Inquiring minds want to know.

Dang, really? I just left this long ole comment and bang it is gone! What the heck? I must of hit a button accidentally, I hate when that happens. Anyway, I love indoor barn doors, I have a pinterest board called "for the love of barn doors" that is how much I love them. I have yet to find a place for me to use one, so for now I just drool and pin :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, too funny. I hate when that happens, anyways I kinda talked the hubs into doing this project (barn doors) When that will happen, who knows but at least he's on board. Now I'm off to go follow your boards : )

DeleteOh I am so in love with the barn door look - it's basically a movable wall :) I don't think I could get away with them in our current home since the floor plan is so open, but I'd love to try them one day!
ReplyDeleteYeah my house is not that open, so it's pretty do-able to do something like this :)
DeleteOoh I love that first pic with the gigantic doors. Feels so grand but warm. Beautiful! I wish I had a place for one!
