While browsing through Pinterest in the wee hours of the night I came across some rather awesome cork projects that made me wonder why didn't I think of doing that? Oh that's right I don't drink wine. Although seeing these projects may be a good enough reason to wanna start. Cheers!
I've always liked the natural texture cork has. So much that we have it installed in our basement flooring. Feels like heaven on our feet!
As I ogled over projects, I was lead to some bizzare but unique corkness that had me scratch my head. The more I looked, the more I liked at what I was seeing. If you thought cork stopped in the vastness of diy projects think again. Take a peek to see what I mean!
So are you guys feeling this trend? What are your thoughts about cork in general? And have you tried any diy projects using cork?

I love cork flooring - environmentally friendly and great underfoot so those shoes and that chair are bound to be super comfortable.
ReplyDeleteWe considered a cork floor in the kitchen of our old house, but found it to be surprisingly expensive! I do love the way it looks and feels though.
ReplyDeleteI guess it depends where you live. When we bought ours which was 3 years ago it was less expensive than flooring. But yeah it does feel so good waling on it.
DeleteI like quite a few of these. I would say the watch is my favorite....I don't know why. If you do a project, I'm sure you will post it...so I look forward to that.
ReplyDeleteI don't see me doing cork projects anytime soon but it's still fun to see what others can do :)
DeleteI love the way cork looks but I don't plan on any cork crafting. :) I really like the cork shoes.
ReplyDeleteI really like those peep toes! I think I like it more in fashion rather than home design, but I've seen some really cool cork floors!
ReplyDeleteLove these! And cork is sustainable so its a great product for interiors. Thanks for this inspiration!
ReplyDeleteCork shoes? Whaaat? Cinderella missed out. Way more practical than glass. ;)
