Pillow Talk

I've been searching high and low for some pillows to add to my new sofa. I just love me some pillows-the more the merrier. I like to think they are like jewelry to a room. The sparkle, the wow, the finishing touch. Amazing how you can change a whole look of a room with just merely adding some colorful textured pillows.

With all the diy pillows I have seen lately on blogland I decided why not I can do this. As soon as I find the time or energy I will be getting a go at it. And since I'm not much of an avid sewer, I'm thinking no sew pillows will have to do - or will it? Who knows I may suprise myself but for now here are some inspiration pillows with tutorials. Feature Wednesday- The Junk House

Happy Wednesday! I've been a little MIA these past few days trying to catch up on projects among other things. But today I'm back to feature Sam from The Junk House.

Sam was motivated and inspired to take part of The Pinterest Challenge/Winter Edition created by four fabulous ladies. Out of hundreds of projects she pinned, she chose this beautiful art print to make as part of the challenge. To see image click on link.

Using scrapbook paper, she cut them into strips and glued them onto a poster board. Sam then took a frame she found at Goodwill, spraypainted it in white and added her herringbone masterpiece art. Pretty awesome huh?
